Description

A rich and creamy dessert with layers of mascarpone and the distinctive flavors of Baileys Irish Cream, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 250 g Mascarpone
  • 200 ml Baileys Irish Cream
  • 250 ml strong brewed coffee, cooled
  • 100 g ladyfingers
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • Cocoa powder for dusting
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Combine the mascarpone, Baileys, and sugar in a bowl and whisk until smooth.
  2. Pour the cooled coffee into a flat dish for dipping.
  3. Dunk each ladyfinger briefly in the coffee, being careful not to soak them too long.
  4. Layer the dipped ladyfingers in a baking dish and spread some mascarpone mixture on top.
  5. Repeat the layering until all ingredients are used, finishing with mascarpone.
  6. Dust the top with cocoa powder, cover, and chill in the fridge for at least 4 hours or overnight.

Notes

For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free ladyfingers. This dessert tastes even better when allowed to sit overnight.
