Ingredients
- Salmon fillet
- Fresh spinach
- Mozzarella cheese
- Garlic
- Fresh herbs (parsley or basil)
- Rice, potatoes, or fresh salad (for side)
- Olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions
- Heat some olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Place the salmon skin-side down in the skillet and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for a short time until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Put the fresh spinach in the pan and sauté until wilted, which takes just a couple of minutes.
- Top the spinach and salmon with mozzarella and let it melt for about 1-2 minutes.
- Season with fresh herbs, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Serve the fried salmon warm with a side of rice, potatoes, or a fresh salad.
Notes
Marinate the salmon a few hours ahead for extra flavor. Cook in the air fryer or oven at 200°C for 12-15 minutes for a different cooking method.
