- 2 packages vanilla pudding powder
- 500 g heavy cream
- 2 packages vanilla sugar
- 1 kg strawberries
- 6 tablespoons crunchy sprinkles
- 150 g granulated sugar
- 1 liter milk
Instructions
- Prepare the strawberries: Mash 2/3 of the washed and cleaned strawberries in a bowl with a fork or potato masher.
- Mix the vanilla pudding powder with the milk and granulated sugar in a pot according to package instructions and bring to a boil while stirring until thickened.
- Cool the pudding, but do not let it set completely.
- Fold the heavy cream into the pudding mixture gently to maintain its airy texture.
- Layer in a baking dish starting with a layer of mashed strawberries followed by the pudding mixture, repeating the process.
- Decorate with remaining strawberries and sprinkle with crunchy sprinkles on top.
- Chill for at least 120 minutes in the refrigerator before serving.
Notes
For a vegan option, use plant-based pudding powder and cream. It’s advisable to prepare the dessert a day in advance for better flavor.
