Description

Delicious and aromatic vegan shrimp dish that perfectly balances seafood flavor and spice.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup plant-based shrimp
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh vegetables (e.g. bell pepper, broccoli)
  • Pasta or tacos as a base

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat and add the chopped garlic.
  2. Be careful not to burn the garlic, allowing it to stay aromatic.
  3. Add the plant-based shrimp and paprika. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until the shrimp are lightly golden brown.
  4. Pour in the soy sauce and mix well. Let it simmer briefly to enhance the flavors.
  5. Include the fresh vegetables and continue to sauté until tender but still crisp, about another 5 minutes.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve hot over your favorite pasta or in your tacos.

Notes

Make sure to check the heat so that the oil doesn’t get too hot. Adjust the spice level by adding more chili if preferred.
